We have run cabling up to the rack so this TV is linked up to the HDANYWHERE matrix and free view antenna so the kids can play on all the consoles and watch either Sky, Roku or Freeview. Before and after of the head end of a system we are refreshing. The door to the cupboard where the original makeshift “rack” was located was very narrow so a slim depth enclosure has been installed. All the kit is looking a lot smarter now and should be happier with proper spacing for heat dissipation, a Middle Atlantic thermostatic fan has been added too as the space is quite small👍🏻 Over the coming weeks we will be doing more to bring this install up to scratch, including new Hikvision IP CCTV, new Texecom Premier Elite alarm, new intercom door station, all integrated into the Elan control system. So here is the follow up on our CCTV upgrade post from yesterday. The images show both cameras at 40 minutes past sunset, and 20 minutes past midnight. The new IP camera is fantastic in low light conditions and still displays full colour after sunset. The old camera still had reasonable IR night vision despite it being 8 years old, and could still beat some cheap new cameras I have seen! Here’s some before and after shots from a CCTV upgrade we are carrying out today. The old system is around 8 years old and was still fully functional. However CCTV has come a long way in this time! We have replaced the old analogue 700TVL system with a Hikvision 4MP IP system. The last image is a new camera displayed on a 46” Samsung HD TV, and even on full screen looks super sharp.
